Cleaning Fossils:
Cleaning Fossils is the first thing you have to do. You have to clean fossils to get vivosaurs, which is why cleaning fossils is extremely important. It's the best way to rack up points and level up vivosaurs without needing to battle. Here are a few tips when cleaning fossils. They're not cheats, but if you use them wisely, you could get 100% fossils most of the time! Remember that if you see dark green on your fossil, that means it's fractured there.
Tip Number One: When your 90 seconds are about to start, and it's counting down 3, 2, 1.....you should press the x-ray button to see the fossil before you even start!
Tip Number Two: Right when you're starting, don't use a hammer right away. Use a drill first for 2 seconds because some fossils are so fragile, they will break if you use a hammer right off of the bat.
Tip Number Three: There are 3 outer "shells" you have to break before seeing the fossil. Break the first two with the hammer, and the last one with the drill.
Tip Number Four: When using the drill, sparks fly and get in your way. Instead of stopping to work and blowing, blow while you work.
Tip Number Five: Even if you only have a few seconds left, don't give up or panic. Continue to work steadily.
![]() | You have exactly 90 seconds to complete cleaning any fossil rock. Use your time wisely. Some fossil rocks are extremely difficult to clean without breaking them. If you have a Super Drill (can be bought at store) and a fast hand, you can create a decent substitute for a regular hammer. This helps to make sure your fossil will not be broken, but watch your time. Drills are slower than hammers, but they are safer. It's your choice. |
